The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies on the community.

SASSA will be rendering companies for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency explained it really is alarmed concerning the superior amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a substantial number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area daily. The services place produced for intervention activities a superior influx of likely beneficiaries, that makes it tough to the Workplace to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more means to allow the servicing of all buyers and maximize access to Social Assistance companies,” the sassa agency said.
